Permanent. Assistant Manager – Insurance Services

Reporting to the Manager, Insurance Services you will be responsible for supervision of the service team in all activities associated with the administration with focus on customer services. Responsibilities include: 
  • Assist with day-to-day administrations of group life and health insurance portfolio
  • Provide support with client’s portal access, respond to client queries 
  • Maintain up-to-date eligibility for all records, update in case of changes in a timely manner 
  • Supervise performance of the Service Team in compliance with established protocols for billing and collection and off-cycle invoicing 
  • Prepare reports on client activity and assist with the upkeep of the Operations Manual
  • Identify training needs and provide training as required 
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant field
  • An advanced professional designation in life or health insurance is an advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive experience
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Excellent understanding of the Cayman Islands Health Insurance Act and Regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task 

Salary: DOE plus benefits.
