Our client is seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in Employee Benefits Insurance Brokerage to join their team as an Assistant Vice President.
In this role, you will assume the responsibility of managing retention, growth, and new initiatives within the Employee Benefits client portfolio. Your key responsibilities will encompass performing due diligence on both new and existing clients, evaluating referrals, conducting claims analyses, and reviewing market processes and outcomes. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring client retention, designing plans and presentations, overseeing the renewal process, conducting market reviews, assisting with program installations and enrollments, managing wellness services, and contributing to business development.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification (ACII or AHIP)
- Over 5 years of experience in Employee Benefits Insurance Broking
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as significant interaction with clients will be necessary
- Strong abilities in client relationship management and negotiation
- Proven experience in handling market and claims analysis
- Strong understanding of local market products is highly advantageous, US market experience also preferred
- Experience using applied Epic operating system would be advantageous
Salary: US$105,000-115,000 per annum plus benefits
