The Agency is recruiting for a Commodities Trading Lead on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities
- Ensure transaction details align with trading agreements and are accurately documented.
- Oversee the settlement process to guarantee prompt payments and receipts.
- Reconcile trading balances, addressing and resolving any inconsistencies.
- Prepare essential trade documents, including contracts, invoices, and shipping records and compile reports on trade activity, profit and loss, and other performance indicators.
- Ensure all trades comply with internal risk controls and regulatory standards, while monitoring trading positions and risk exposure.
- Assist in financial reporting tasks, such as preparing monthly statements and performing mark-to-market valuations.
- Act as the main point of contact between counterparties, internal teams, and clients. to facilitate efficient trade settlement.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and opportunities to inform trading strategies and broader portfolio decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience ideally within the commodities or crude oil trading sectors.
- Deep understanding of international trade, regulatory requirements, and shipping markets.
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Salary: Upto US$175K.
