Our client is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Business Partner to join their dynamic team.

As the Compliance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with business leaders and line managers to drive proactive business priorities and bring about positive change within the Compliance function.

Your role will encompass a blend of operational, strategic, and project-based responsibilities, while addressing the evolving needs of the business. Working collaboratively with the wider compliance team and the business, you will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for clients and keeping business leaders informed about compliance matters.

Key responsibilities will include aligning compliance strategy with business objectives, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and providing updates on new business matters. Additionally, you will offer coaching and practical support to maintain consistency in compliance practices, stay informed about current regulations and policies through ongoing training, and ensure an effective system for addressing compliance and AML queries.

As a Compliance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of AML standards and internal controls, providing targeted training, and overseeing the allocation of new business matters as well as maintaining KYC documentation and timely client onboarding will be critical in ensuring a compliant and secure business environment.

• Professional certification like ACAMS or similar
• University Degree in Business/Law
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the financial services industry
• A solid understanding of Cayman Islands AML obligations
• Outstanding communication, analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
