Temporary. Part-Time Billing Assistant

The Agency is recruiting for a Part-Time Billing Assistant for a reputable law firm on island. Approximately 25-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the firm’s working capital.
  • Act as the main point of contact for billing and collections to enhance efficiency.
  • Assess work-in-progress (WIP) and accounts receivable, recording outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reports for the Finance Manager and partners.
  • Ensure adherence to global, client, and matter fee arrangements.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to support the recovery of accounts receivable.
  • Process all incoming invoice payments accurately.
  • Assist teams in the department and adjust to changing workloads.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree or an Associates Degree in Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Skilled in financial reporting systems and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with practice management systems like Elite 3e, Elite Enterprise, or Viewpoint.
  • Proactive with excellent decision-making skills, thriving in a results-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Hourly rate: US$22-US$25 per hour DOE.
