As a Senior Fund Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining accounting and investment records for fund clients, capturing all aspects of transactions and producing the NAV calculations and processing payments. You will assist the account manager in the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of clients

Responsibilities:   

• Calculating NAVs, preparing fund statements, liaising with investors
• Taking ownership of client relationships, valuations, corporate administration and investor services
• Reviewing accounting and financial statements with a wide range of investment structures and complex financial instruments
• Daily reconciliation of all cash & positions – both listed, unlisted and OTC to Custodians/Prime Brokers and Counterparties
• Preparing and monitoring expenses, budget analysis
• Meeting tight deadlines in a timely manner
• Analysing changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations
• Assisting with the management of more junior staff

Qualifications/Experience:

• Relevant Degree, ideally related to Finance, and a professional accounting designation, (CPA, ACCA, CA)
• Ideally you will have experience in Fund Accounting already, but we will consider candidates currently auditing funds looking to make a move into fund admin
• Solid understanding of alternative investment products within the offshore financial services sector
• Hands-on experience with accounting software

Salary: US$80,000 – US$100,000 per annum plus other benefits
