We are seeking a talented, self-motivated IT professional to join our client’s team as a Senior Technical Specialist. You will primarily be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to computer system users for clients. You will report to the Service Desk Manager and will be responsible for:
- Providing technical assistance/support to clients and responding to queries
- Resolving computer related issues for clients in person, via telephone and from remote locations
- Installing and performing minor repairs to IT hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
- Maintaining record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a computer related discipline
- Nutanix MCI Certification
- Prior experience in similar role
- Minimum ten years’ experience working with Microsoft, CISCO, VMware and Veeam networking technologies
- Minimum ten years’ experience of Microsoft 20xx Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V 2016/2019 with a current Microsoft MCSAMCSE 2016 certification
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience of CISCO Catalyst, CISCO Meraki and HPE Aruba Switching, Routing and Firewall technologies with a Cisco CCNA and CCNP Certification
- Minimum five years’ experience of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure with a current Microsoft 365 and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Experience of Sentinel One, Cylance Protect and various vendor Anti-Virus Products
- Experience of installing, configuring and supporting VMware Vsphere ESXi with a valid VMware VCP 6/7 certification
- Experience of installing, configuring and supporting Veeam technologies with a valid VMCE certification
- Minimum ten years’ experience working with DELL and HPE Server hardware
- Minimum five years’ experience working with DELL and HPE SAN solutions
- Consumer awareness and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels
Salary: US$99,000-US$120,000 per annum plus benefits
