Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing submission information along with Senior Underwriters, and issue quote letters and underwriting advises. 

Responsibilities:   
  • Review applications, determine risk associated and advise clients
  • Organize meetings with specialists to help determine risk assessment in unique circumstances
  • Use professional techniques and strategies to calculate the risk associated with client policies
  • Liaise with banks, collection of payments, quotations
  • Keep detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made

Requirements:  

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field 
  • Certificate in Insurance (CertCII designation)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office administration and a minimum of 2 years of similar insurance underwriting experience for Underwriter
  • Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong written, verbal and phone communication skills
  • Aptitude for mathematics, decision-making, and meeting established production and accuracy goals

Salary:  US$40,000 – US$60,000 per annum plus benefits.
