About the Role:
As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the internal finance function, contributing to financial strategy, and assisting leadership in achieving overall business goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve recording and analyzing financial transactions, managing invoices, maintaining ledger accounts, and preparing reconciliations to identify any discrepancies or potential fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, validate, and code both foreign and domestic invoices.
  • Accurately enter invoices into the accounts payable system and manage vendor setup.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations with foreign ITCs and review inter-territory statements.
  • Oversee petty cash distribution and reconciliation.
  • Manage company credit cards, including reconciliation, payment, allocation, and balance monitoring.
  • Process employee expense reports and issue cash advances as needed.
  • Ensure proper document filing and retention for compliance purposes.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile medical invoices for the company.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow projections.
  • Handle both foreign and local payments, including manual and online transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing entries, such as accruals, and manage banking activities.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all financial, supplier, and employee information.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively handling queries from stakeholders, including partners.
  • Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and robust problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree in Finance or a related field, or at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Actively pursuing an international accounting designation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
