We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices while ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
  • Compile, organize, and maintain all necessary reports and documentation.
  • Accurately allocate charges to General Ledgers (GLs) and relevant cost centers.
  • Verify data entries across various systems and oversee data transfers.
  • Create expense reports for promotional items and events for billing back to strategic partners.
  • Oversee the posting and payment of credit card transactions.
  • Update and manage recurring transactions such as rent, utilities, and insurance.
  • Review, control, and authorize expenses, ensuring adherence to approval policies.
  • Address vendor disputes and ensure timely receipt and posting of credits.
  • Work with internal teams to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Analyze accounts and produce monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Conduct audits of documentation and rectify any inconsistencies.
  • Assist in implementing new Accounts Payable procedures within the Finance Department.
  • Present Accounts Payable information as required, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Carry out inventory counts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Skilled in data entry and processing Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Business Central, and Counterpoint SQL.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software applications.
  • Strong administrative capabilities.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements, including Income Statements.
  • Experience with online banking platforms.
Salary: CI$40,000 – CI$55,000 per annum.
