The Agency is recruiting for a Training & Development Officer on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract. February start. 

• Coordinate and plan staff training programs with educational institutions, developing short- and long-term strategies and materials, and incorporating feedback as needed.
• Produce newsletters and reports to keep staff and stakeholders informed about initiatives and team-building activities.
• Compile data from annual performance reviews, maintain up-to-date training records, and ensure proper filing and retrieval of staff training documentation.
• Organize and attend career expos to promote departmental roles, stay updated on training advancements, and support workshops on policies and projects.
• Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation programs in coordination with the HR team.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Professional Training Certification with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Immigration Law and Regulations and familiarity with adult learning approaches is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and quick to adapt to new software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Salary: US$30 – US$35 per hour DOE.
