Temporary. Payroll Coordinator

The Agency is recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator on behalf of our client. This is a 12-month contract. Immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records for employees across the organization.
- Collaborate with other business functions to ensure all documentation complies with local regulations.
- Monitor all accounts used for payroll functions, reconciling related entries, and promptly resolving any errors.
- Develop workshops and training programs for all new employees during the onboarding process.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles related to payroll systems and a solid understanding of Cayman Islands laws and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management abilities, capable of handling sensitive information and working under tight deadlines.
- Only Caymanian candidates will be considered for this role.
Salary: US$19 – US$21 per hour.
