Temporary. Payroll Specialist

The Agency is recruiting for a Payroll Specialist on behalf of our client. This is an 18-month contract. Immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all payroll functions, including salary processing, deductions, and benefits administration.
- Maintain and update accurate employee records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries regularly.
- Generate detailed payroll reports for the management team on a consistent basis.
- Provide training to team members on relevant labour laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of specialised experience in payroll.
- Solid understanding of financial and general accounting principles, including payroll processing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cayman Islands Employment, Pension, and Health legislation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and proven capability to perform well under pressure.
Hourly rate: US$25 – US$30 per hour.
Annual salary: US$67,000 – US$85,000 per annum.
