The Agency is recruiting for a Compliance Officer on behalf of our client.

• Oversee client onboarding processes and ensure the accurate maintenance of KYC documentation.
• Supervise the work of the Compliance Assistant, reviewing and signing off on all relevant documentation.
• Communicate with clients regarding KYC/CDD requirements and conduct regular entity risk assessments.
• Prepare reports for management and compile documentation required for regulatory and internal submissions.
• Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Professional qualification like ACAMS, ICA or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years’ compliance experience within a professional services firm.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and other Financial Crimes.
• Knowledge of the regulatory regime in the Cayman Islands. Knowledge of other jurisdictions’ AML functions would be an advantage.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.  

Salary: US$100,000 per annum.
