Temporary. Legal Secretary – Property Department

The Agency is recruiting for a Legal Secretary – Property Department on behalf of our client. 1–2-month Contract. Start Date: December 1.

Responsibilities:
• Draft land transfers, charges, completion statements, and legal opinions
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency
• Arrange and attend meetings as required
• Draft and handle regular email correspondence
• Manage billing and matter administration – including invoicing duties, billing accuracy, preparing invoice cover letters, and    submitting invoices
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients, responding promptly and professionally.

Requirements:
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a legal secretary within the property department of a reputable law firm
• Excellent typing speed and experience in drafting legal correspondence
• Strong knowledge of the Cayman Land Registry systems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and self-manage
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, busy team environment and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Salary: US$35 – US$37 per hour.
