The Agency is recruiting for an experienced US Tax Director or Tax Partner to lead and grow a new office in the Cayman Islands for a global firm.

The successful candidate must be Caymanian or hold Permanent Residency (PR).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Cayman Islands office, ensuring alignment with the firm’s global strategy.
• Provide expert tax advisory services to clients in the Funds, Insurance, and Financial Services sectors.
• Manage U.S. tax compliance and advisory matters for international structures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in all engagements. 

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in tax advisory, with a focus on U.S. tax for funds and/or insurance entities.
• Strong technical expertise in U.S. tax compliance and planning for funds and insurance structures.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent designation strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Cayman Islands regulatory environment and global financial services.
