The Agency is recruiting for a Accountant on behalf of our client. This is an initial 3-month contract requiring an immediate start.

Financial Leadership: Lead and oversee key accounting functions, including receivables, payables, and purchase orders, while guiding junior staff.

Impactful Contribution: Play a central role in budgeting, reporting, and process improvements that directly support the Ministry’s mission and operations.

• Support senior financial leadership in overseeing the Ministry’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Manage key accounting functions, including receivables, payables, purchase orders, and related reconciliations, while guiding junior staff.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and ad hoc reports.
• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and other administrative or strategic tasks as needed. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of progressive experience, including some supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience using accounting software, databases, and advanced spreadsheet tools.
• Effective communicator with the ability to manage relationships and present financial information clearly.
• Professional, discreet, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.

Salary: US$30 – US$35 per hour.
