The Agency is recruiting for an Accounts Clerk on behalf of our client.

Hands-On Accounting Experience: Engage in a wide range of accounting tasks, from cash handling and reconciliations to generating financial reports.

Client-Facing Responsibility: Build valuable communication skills by resolving customer payment issues and managing accounts receivable interactions.

Team-Oriented Environment: Support a collaborative team where your contributions help drive continuous improvement and ensure critical deadlines are met.

• Perform day-to-day duties such as opening, reviewing, and closing cash counts for the team.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies while also reminding customers of outstanding invoices.
• Ensure that cash receipts and card payments are processed promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to accounting issues through all communication channels.
• Prepare financial reports and logs detailing accounts receivable information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with at least 4 years of professional experience. 
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, hands on experience with Great Plains would be desirable but not essential. 
• Strong problem solving skills, adept at organising high priority tasks and working in a team. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
