The Agency is recruiting for an Actuarial Finance Director – Longevity on behalf of our client.

Leadership Impact: Opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and drive the performance of a key longevity reinsurance portfolio at a global financial institution.

Technical Influence: Chance to shape actuarial modelling, risk management, and process innovation using advanced analytics and modern tools.

Industry Authority: Serve as a subject matter expert representing RBC internally and externally, influencing client relationships and industry practices.

• Lead and enhance actuarial modelling, data analysis, and process improvement efforts to ensure accurate financial outcomes and operational compliance.
• Oversee in-force business management, including data validation, performance monitoring, and client interactions to maintain strong portfolio health.
• Contribute to deal execution and strategic initiatives by providing actuarial insight, supporting due diligence, and refining treaty and process design.
• Mentor and develop team members while driving innovation through the use of advanced analytics, technology, and agile working practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Fully qualified actuary with a strong academic foundation in quantitative disciplines and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Proven expertise in reinsurance, with a focus on longevity-related risks and a solid grasp of risk transfer and pricing practices.
• Advanced modelling and analytical capabilities, including experience building and validating actuarial models to assess long-term demographic and financial outcomes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing projects, engaging clients, and delivering complex technical insights in a clear, strategic manner.
