The Agency is recruiting for an Assistant HR Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 3 to 6-month contract. August 1st start. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with developing, optimising and implementing an HR and People strategy in line with the firm’s business objectives.
• Undertake a review of the firm’s existing payroll and benefits process, challenging current procedures and implementing enhancements and/or efficiencies as appropriate.
• Oversee the recruitment aspects of the firm’s team, ensuring that interviews, onboarding and training are conducted appropriately. 
• Provide advice and mentorship, challenge and coach the HR team on HR best practices and operational efficiencies.
• Act as a change agent and support ad hoc organisational effectiveness projects.  

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience; or
• Associate’s degree or recognised HR qualification with at least 5 years of progressive experience in the field.
• Familiarity with the Public Service Management Act (PSMA) and Personnel Regulations is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIRIS or similar human resource information systems is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of contemporary Human Resource Management principles and best practices.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.

Salary: US$30 – US$35 per hour.
