We are partnering with a prestigious firm to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager for their Cayman Islands office. This is a senior and strategic role, ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in offshore structures and financial products who enjoys a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

The Role

As Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm’s client onboarding and file remediation processes are fully compliant with local and international regulations. This includes working across a wide range of structures and financial products commonly used in the Cayman Islands, including investment funds, structured products, M&A transactions, and various legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring adherence to AML/KYC regulations.
• Lead and oversee periodic reviews and annual file remediation projects.
• Provide compliance advice and support for:
  
  • Investment funds
  • Structured finance and structured products
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Cayman-specific vehicles (LLCs, exempted companies, partnerships, etc.)
• Monitor regulatory developments and update internal policies accordingly.
• Act as a point of contact for internal teams, regulators, and auditors.
• Support the development of internal compliance frameworks and best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior compliance role.
• Strong knowledge of Cayman Islands regulations and offshore legal structures.
• Proven experience handling complex files and high volumes in a fast-moving environment.
• Dynamic, energetic, and able to work independently with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
