The Agency is recruiting for a Compliance Officer on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract. 

Responsibilities 

• Foster a strong compliance culture, ensuring management agreements with third parties are regularly updated and maintained.
• Create and update procedures and forms to reflect new developments and industry best practices.
• Draft comprehensive compliance reports and address regulatory queries in a timely manner.
• Regularly review and enhance internal compliance procedures to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
• Deliver training or coordinate training sessions to ensure employees understand compliance policies, legislation, and procedures.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, along with a professional qualification such as ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of compliance experience within a professional services firm.
• Proficient in laws and regulations related to Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing, with a strong understanding of the regulatory regime in the Cayman Islands.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent team working skills, ability to manage own workload and great attention to detail.  

Salary: DOE.
