The Agency is recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract. Immediate start. 

• Assist in the creation of consolidated financial reports, including annual budget planning, strategic forecasting, and analysis of financial variances.
• Oversee reconciliation and management of sub-ledgers and prepare monthly invoices.
• Oversee purchase orders, process invoice payments, reconcile vendor accounts, and track fixed assets.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, process employee expense claims, and manage ledger operations.
• Ensure daily revenue is collected promptly and processed in line with financial regulations.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication across the department.

Requirements

• Professional accounting designation such as ACCA (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; prior audit experience is preferred.
• Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and budget management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is an asset.
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct in all financial operations.
• Only on-island candidates can be considered for this position.

Salary: US$35 per hour, plus benefits.
