The Agency is recruiting for a Fixed Assets Accountant on behalf of our client. This is a 3 to 6-month contract. Immediate start. 

Responsibilities: 

• Verify the accurate allocation of costs to designated asset categories and locations.
• Execute tasks involving the capitalisation, transfer, and disposal of assets.
• Evaluate Construction In Progress and requests for Capital Funding pertaining to Fixed Assets.
• Ensure precise monthly calculation of depreciation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of the fixed assets register and address any discrepancies through documentation and investigation.
• Fulfil duties encompassing reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closure tasks of Fixed Assets and Construction in Progress.  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional Qualification, such as CPA, or actively pursuing an internationally recognised professional accounting designation.
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets, IFRS and US GAAP is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 

Salary: US$35 per hour.
