Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth functioning and upkeep of both SaaS-based and internal infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Cloud Service Providers, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
- Work closely with the teams to address and report on IT and information security risks and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Protect sensitive information managed by the company’s systems.
- Assist in problem resolution, change processes, and incident response within a Service Management (ITIL) environment.
- Oversee IT escalation processes, addressing urgent alerts that require prompt action.
- Lead the management of vendor relationships, from selection and agreement creation to oversight of outsourced IT services and vendor performance.
- Establish and uphold a comprehensive ICT governance framework, integrating risk and incident management.
- Maintain a current log of ICT assets and actively monitor critical systems to prevent performance issues.
- Head ICT initiatives and guide ICT involvement in new projects.
- Ensure business continuity strategies are aligned with IT systems, focusing on resilience to cyber threats and stability in third-party services.
- Develop, guide, and retain an IT team capable of supporting the bank’s evolving needs through strategic hiring, training, and ongoing development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in a senior tech leadership role with strategic and development expertise.
- Strong leadership abilities, adept at team building and negotiation.
- Budget management experience, efficient resource allocation, and a proactive approach to leveraging emerging technology trends within the organization.
