Temporary. Legal Secretary-Litigation

The Agency is recruiting for a Legal Secretary-Litigation on behalf of our client. This is a temporary assignment for 4-8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management and travel arrangement coordination if/when required.
  • Arranging and attending meetings if/when required.
  • Document production such as hearing bundles.
  • Proof-reading legal documents.
  • Drafting and handling regular email correspondence.
  • Billing and matter management – invoicing duties, billings, ensuring accuracy submission, prepare invoice cover letters etc.
  • Develop excellent relationships with internal/external clients promptly and professionally.  

Qualifications:

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a legal secretary within the litigation department of a reputable law firm.
  • Excellent typing speed and experience in drafting legal correspondence.
  • Upstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-manage.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, busy team whilst working well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be Caymanian/hold the right to work.

Salary: US$25- US$30 per hour.
