Temporary. Library Assistant (Cayman Brac)

The Agency is recruiting for a Library Assistant (Cayman Brac) on behalf of our client. Initial 3 months. Immediate start. This position is based in Cayman Brac.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality front-line service by assisting customers with information access, library resources, and general enquiries.
- Support daily library operations, including circulation, cataloguing, materials management, and basic technology troubleshooting.
- Contribute to community and educational programmes by helping plan, promote, and deliver library initiatives and activities.
- Maintain accurate records, uphold organisational policies, and assist with the smooth running of library facilities as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Relevant academic background (or equivalent experience) with a willingness to pursue further professional development.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a comparable administrative or customer-facing environment.
- Strong computer and information management skills, including proficiency in standard office software and online research.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and service quality.
Salary: US$18 per hour.
