Grand Cayman. Paralegal

On behalf of a client, we are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join their team. 6-month contract. Immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizing and maintaining documents in an electronic filing system.
  • Performing all aspects of administrative preparation for court hearings, including note-taking and managing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and appeals.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available on the company’s website.
  • Assist Legal Counsels with case management, legal research, and support for regulatory obligations.
  • Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence and other documents for attorneys.
  • Directing and coordinating law office activity.

Requirements:

  • A law degree, paralegal degree, diploma in law, or legal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of court filing experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Great communication, time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and word processing skills.

  

Salary: US$32 US$32 – US$35 per hour.
