The Agency is recruiting for a Pension Accountant on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile and manage pension plan subscriptions and monthly redemptions, ensuring accurate cash reporting for the NAV team.
  • Process payments in compliance with regulations, audit historical account balances, and complete client fund rebalancing.
  • Ensure compliance by reviewing and preparing accurate financial and regulatory reports for clients.
  • Support business growth by assisting with procedural or regulatory changes and contributing to client presentations.
  • Serve as a point of reference for technical issues and non-standard cases, mentoring and training junior staff on pension-related matters.
  • Assist customer service agents with inquiries and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a recognized professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA).
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, including team management and feedback provision.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, with experience in Cayman Islands Pension Laws and Regulations considered a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions and making recommendations.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills, and a keen interest in leveraging emerging technology.

Salary: US$80,000 – US$110,000 per annum DOE.
