Temporary. Sales Clerk

The Agency is recruiting for a Sales Clerk on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract role with perm potential. Immediate start.  

Responsibilities 
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by guiding them through product displays, addressing inquiries, and representing the organization positively.
  • Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, accurately processing customer transactions and handling payments.
  • Organize and arrange products in an orderly manner, ensuring merchandise is easily accessible and visually appealing to customers.
  • Regularly check shelves and stock levels to ensure all items are fully stocked and available.
  • Address customer inquiries and phone calls promptly and professionally, providing assistance and resolving issues as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience, or at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong mathematics skills, particularly in handling change and managing currency conversions accurately.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and comfortable using various software applications.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers, address inquiries, and provide helpful responses.

Salary: US$12 – US$15 per hour DOE.
