The Agency is recruiting for a Senior AML Analyst on behalf of our client.

Leadership Opportunity: Mentor junior analysts and play a key role in shaping AML compliance practices across supervised firms.

• Conduct on-site inspections to assess the AML frameworks of supervised firms, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Analyse complex data and documentation to identify potential money laundering risks.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and, where applicable, penalties or remedial actions.
• Address breaches of compliance regulations through appropriate corrective measures or escalate issues to senior management as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their development and addressing any questions or knowledge gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related discipline and professional AML certifications such as ACAMS.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Extensive experience in mitigating money laundering risks and preparing regulatory reports; prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of both local and international AML regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM systems; familiarity with platforms such as OffshoreAlert is desirable.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: CI$75,000 – CI$90,000 per annum.
