A strong Bermuda firm is actively looking for a senior-level attorney with proven court advocacy skills, insolvency and commercial litigation experience.  The ideal lawyer would have commercial awareness, great business development and client rapport building, who is a team player, willing to mentor juniors and who is hungry for partnership.
  
The successful applicant should have:
  

• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant post qualification experience;
• A recognized Commonwealth designation;
• Advocacy skills and proven experience in conducting litigation to a high standard at various levels of court;
• Experience in commercial matters preferably including insolvency experience;
• Excellent legal research and legal opinion writing;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively and courteously with clients, lawyers and colleagues;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a busy practice and handle several matters at once;
• The ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality in all matters;
• Excellent computer and technical skills;
• Experience with business development activities.
