A top offshore firn is offering a unique opportunity to an ambitious and technically strong lawyer to join its market leading and dynamic Disputes to help build out the firm’s Channel Islands IDR practice as it continues on its proven and ongoing trajectory of growth.

The firm is looking for solicitors, barristers and advocates of 7PQE , for a Senior Counsel-level role. The primary work is contentious financial services, complex commercial litigation, insolvency, contentious trusts, fraud, asset tracing and insolvency. Some appearances in court are to be expected once requalified in Jersey. Lawyers from the UK, Ireland, Australia and Hong Kong, as well as local lawyers, are welcomed to apply. 

In assisting the partners to build out and service the Jersey IDR practice, this role will be a part of the story of general expansion across all of the Firm’s practice groups in the Channel Islands, and you’ll have a stimulating and challenging role, with real Partnership opportunities on offer. 

At Senior Counsel level, the firm would expect you to be comfortable with handling matters with minimal partner intervention, having extensive client contact, and getting involved in business development. Someone who enjoys training and developing juniors and contributing to the wider team culture would be ideal.
