Title: Trainee Actuary

This is a great opportunity for a recently graduated or early-career Caymanian to gain hands-on experience in actuarial consulting while working towards professional qualifications. You will support senior consultants on projects involving risk management, financial modelling, and strategic advice for clients across Reinsurance, Captive Insurance and Commercial Insurance.

Package: $80k USD Base Bonus Pension Health Care

• Assist in building and reviewing actuarial models for insurance and pension clients.
• Support senior consultants with data analysis and reporting for client projects.
• Contribute to risk assessments and financial projections for client portfolios.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and actuarial standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel (knowledge of VBA or programming is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to pursuing actuarial exams and professional development.
