The Agency is recruiting for a VP, Compliance Services/Regulatory on behalf of our client. This is a 3-6-month contract. Immediate start.

Responsibilities: 

• Act as AMLCO for a portfolio of client entities, ensuring full compliance and AML regulations, including policy development, KYC oversight, and regulatory reporting.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager and main liaison with regulatory authorities, delivering reports, maintaining compliance logs, and ensuring robust record-keeping.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and alignment with organisational standards.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities with existing and new clients, managing portfolio profitability, and supporting marketing and networking activities.
• Oversee financial and compliance functions for client portfolios, including FATCA/CRS reporting, risk assessments, budget reviews, liquidation services, and board meeting presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, with professional certifications in compliance such as CAMS is considered an asset.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in compliance or AML roles within corporate service providers, including risk assessment and sanctions compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of Cayman Islands AML and FATCA/CRS regulatory frameworks, with practical experience applying them to various structures.
• Skilled in client risk assessment, risk rating methodologies, and regulatory alignment, with the ability to assess, document, and escalate risks independently.
• Solid understanding of Cayman Islands laws and regulations, particularly in relation to economic substance.
• Proficient in entity management systems (e.g., Viewpoint) and MS Office tools, with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• This individual should have very strong technical skills and strong communication skills.

Salary: US$120,000 – US$140,000 per annum.
