The Agency is recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of an established Insurance firm in Cayman.

Strategic Influence: Play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting important business and investment decisions.

Regulatory & Technical Exposure: Gain involvement in complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and evolving accounting frameworks within a regulated industry.

Leadership Opportunity: Lead financial operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to the continued growth and development of the finance function.

• Lead the preparation and review of periodic financial reports while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to support governance and reporting requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business planning, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process enhancements, establish performance measures, and support key financial and regulatory reporting activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a recognized professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in financial reporting, finance management, or a similar function within a regulated financial environment.
• Experience with IFRS17 and strong understanding of financial controls, reporting frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate independently and manage priorities effectively.
