This is a rare Associate role in the Bermuda Private Client team of a leading offshore firm. They are looking in the 3-6PQE range. The firm needs someone who can slot in quite easily, with existing private client experience at a UK firm ideal. 
  
 Key Job Accountabilities
  

• Working with a broad range of international private clients and institutions in the area of personal and commercial trusts, structuring transactions, as well as contributing to marketing and other professional development initiatives
• Advising the Firms’ licensed trust company on day-to-day legal issues, including  trustees’ duties and obligations owed to beneficiaries, as well as the review of contracts
• Provision of advice on an unsupervised basis
• Drafting of trust and other legal documentation, which may include coordination of company law documents

  
Key Job Requirements
  

• Proven experience and a high degree of knowledge in the area of international Trust and Estate Planning
• Ability to communicate effectively with local and overseas clients, international tax attorneys and other advisers
• Capable of dealing with a varied and heavy workload
• Prior experience in advising trust companies and high net worth clients in the international context would be helpful
