The Agency is recruiting for a Fixed Asset Accountant on behalf of a client. This role is commencing as a temporary assignment for an initial period of 2 months.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accurate allocation of costs to designated asset categories and locations.
• Execute tasks involving the capitalization, transfer, and disposal of assets.
• Evaluate Construction In Progress and requests for Capital Funding pertaining to Fixed Assets.
• Ensure precise monthly calculation of depreciation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of the fixed assets register and address any discrepancies through documentation and investigation.
• Fulfill duties encompassing reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closure tasks of Fixed Assets and Construction in Progress.
• Carry out activities associated with inventory accounting.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
• Professional Qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA or actively pursuing an internationally recognized professional accounting designation.
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is advantageous.

  

Salary: US$34-38 Per Hour.
