The Agency is recruiting for a Senior Policy Advisor on behalf of our client.

Strategic Policy Leadership: Contribute to shaping public-sector strategies through meaningful, high-level projects focused on policy development, implementation, and strategic analysis.

Expert Insight: Leverage your expertise to address complex, multi-disciplinary issues by providing input on legal frameworks and recommending best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Take the lead in communication, negotiation, and collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive effective policy outcomes.

• Prepare briefings and reports on technical matters, demonstrating strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Monitor public sentiment on key issues and events impacting the organization, providing insights to inform policy development and implementation.
• Communicate draft policies and guidelines to management and other stakeholders, and present recommended policies as appropriate.
• Develop performance measurement criteria to track progress against strategic objectives.
• Finalise policies, recommend amendments to relevant laws and ensure stakeholders are fully informed and equipped with the necessary tools for effective implementation.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Public Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in a senior-level role, including at least 5 years of experience in policy drafting and development.
• Strong understanding of policy drafting principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and coordinating with external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a structured and analytical approach to resolving issues.

Salary: US$ 90,000 – US$133,000 per annum.
