On behalf of a growing Reinsurance firm in the Cayman Islands The Agency is recruiting for a Senior Reinsurance Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a candidate at Manager / Senior Manager level looking to move into the Reinsurance Industry OR for a candidate looking to move from an Insurance Manager to Reinsurance.

Responsibilities:

• Support preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP across multiple legal entities.
• Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Contribute to management reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis versus plan and prior periods.
• Partner with operational teams on business initiatives, providing financial analysis, key metrics, and presentation materials.
• Provide support across investment operations and reinsurance accounting, including reconciliations and reporting.

  
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, within insurance / Reinsurance.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to statutory insurance accounting is advantageous.
